Non-smoking section is completely away from the main casino, though very small (just a small room). This casino is very nice and laid out nicely -ventilation is also very good. Staff has consistently been very respectful and quick.
Rooms are decent, not outstanding and be careful - you could get a TERRIBLE view - garbage cans.
Golden Nugget - Hotel check in desk is completely away from the casino which is kinda nice. Probably have to either drive or take the water taxi ($4.00 one way, $15.00 or all day pass) to get to other casinos. I've heard many times that their elevators are terrible - VERY SLOW and I've heard depending on which tower you stay the walls are thin. They have good food selections (McDs, Cinabon(?) and their buffet IMO is the best, and most expensive. The beach is a big plus and the pool has a good view of the river.
Harrahs is a very nice casino and the ventilation is very good and their non-smoking section is no smoky at all.
